Flash sale @ Funkykits

Hello my lovelies, how has your week been?
I am very glad to see the weekend as it mean that my shift doing holiday relief for Kate in the store is OVER!
One day off a week does not make a happy mamma, nor does it get the housework done, washing, hovering and food shoppping either.

Back to normal for a short time. Classes in both Elgin and Oldmeldrum this weekend.
Then we will catch our breath before we head into two demonstation weekends with the lovely Jenny Trueman. Elgin on the 4th and Oldmeldrum on 11th. With Spellbinder dies already on 3 for 2 promotion, I will have plenty more great deals to offer our shoppers who live near by.

Funkykits , fingers crossed, will be moving out of the house of sugar next month. After 8 years of rubber, its time to celebrate making it this far, because 8 is old for a stamp company!

I would rather sell the rubber than box it up and humph it out the door into the white van.

30% off rubber stamps, many designs with low stocks. When it's gone, it's gone, as they say.
Digital is the direction we are heading...........

Saying that, we have a few new rubber stamps coming next month.

enjoy your Saturday

Elf Made Magic

Hi Peeps...

Christine here today...  and I'm here to share my card using

(available as a digi image from Funky Kits)

It seems like the DT have all been in need of a little fairy love this week..  as without consulting each other, we've mostly come up with fairy images on our cards!

I coloured the little elf with my Copics and actually cut an extra set of wings and star so I could give it a little 3D effect..  then I used a DieNamics Circle Stax die, added lots of glitter..  and some white gel pen spots on the shading.

The paper I've used is called Love - Joy - Peace and is from Lawn Fawn - I love the delicate shade of greeny aqua.  The sentiment is a LOTV handwritten one.  I used some contrasting seam binding for the bow.

I'd love you to pop over to my blog HERE if you'd like to see more details of my card...

Now... some EXCITING NEWS!!  Today we have a BRAND NEW ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE for you over at The Sugar Bowl!  We have a whole new look........  and we have some WONDERFUL new DT members..  you really need to get yourself over there and take a peek!   Click HERE if you want to join in the fun and take a peek!

Thank you for stopping by - hope you have a lovely day..

SOS

Hello my lovelies, hope your week has been peaceful.
I'm running around like a wild haggis this week. Covering for staff holidays in the store, keeping house, lots of league stuff to do with my parents and a new venture I'm ready to tackle next month. One day off a week is not enough to catch up on washing etc.

The DT have two batches of art this week, part two of Furry a Friends. Some really cute images with Bramble , Brodie and Jelly.  I hope to post these out to our guests this week too.

The other art is a partnership with All Dressed Up, woooopppppie! Wendy has been working on some new art for us to promote and , wait for it, rubber!  You will hear more about that very soon.

ADU DT will be working with Sugar Nellie DT on a blog hope to show case the digital designs.

Computer problems . two computers down and it's time for an upgrade I think. But my computer mans away for the weekend, where's the man when you need him!

Off out now to fill up the fridge and take the children to see my father who's not been good this week.
Have a peaceful weekend and I look forward to seeing you over on our FB page.

Let's get right on to it shall we ?I am delighted with those who took the time to enter our wee competition. Those Furry Friends made delightful additions to your cards. In fact I had a hard choice choosing guest designers because I loved them all.
But first, I left random. Org decide on who wins the Kit & Clowder colouring class. That as the easiest way forward and the fairest way for all of you.

True Random Number Generator  8Powered by RANDOM.ORG
Don't know why I can't get it to copy in its box but here is our results.
Congratulations number 8 , come on down!
If your rushing over to see who number eight was, do come back and read the rest of this post.....

OK now on to Guest designers .
This was a hard choice for me. But I made my life as simple as it can be, if there is a short cut I will take it!
I choose you all!Yes that's right, each person who entered has a spot as a guest on the Sugar Nellie Design Team.I'll even throw in a badge for your blog, some freebie images to work from which will be images from Sugar Nellie in digital form. And as a cherry on the top a Funkykits store discount.Email me at funkykits2014@aol.co.uk, subject Guest Designer.
I think that's enough sweetness for me today, I hope I have made someone happy.😀Take care everyone and stay safe.Karen
