Feed The Birds

Good morning Sugar Fans!

It's Janine, and I'm here to share with you my Wednesday post.

After just returning from my relaxing holiday in the sun I thought I would being you little freshness with an autumnal card. I've used the very cute 'All Dressed Up' stamp called 'Feed the Birds' - it's available as a digital stamp from Funkykits.  I just love the little squirrel!

There are more 'All Dressed Up' digital stamps available to download in store.

I matted a small scallop card blank with some pretty patterned paper. Next I printed my digi image directly onto my colouring cardstock and I coloured it with Copic Markers. Using several square dies I die cut 2 frames from blue and pink card and layered them up on the card base. The coloured topper was insert inside the frame.

Using the left over squares from the frames I adhered some doubled sided sticky paper to them and die cut some skeleton leaves. I peeled off the backing paper and added some crystal glitter - these were added to my frames as embellishments.

To finish off I added a few gems and a touch of glitter.

You can the find the 'Feed The Birds' stamp here --

Hey Little Birdie

Happy Sunday! This is Jeanette and I wanted to share this fun shaker card with you.

This is the card I made when I was entering the last DT call and I hadn’t ever shared it here on the blog with you. The digital image I used is called Hey Little Birdie.

The image was colored with Copic markers and the background was sponged on with Distress inks. I think the sequins that create the shake portion of my shaker card look quite nice paired up with the image. I bought these sequins over at the local $ store. Quite the bargain :)

I had taken some photos at different angles and in different states of being shaken!

Little Helpers

Hello Sugar Fans!

It's Janine here with my usual Wednesday post.

This week I decided to create a festive door hanger using the extremely cute digital image called 'Little Helpers' which available from Funkykits.

I love these little guys - they're so sweet :)

I printed the digital image and my message 'Santa Please Stop Here' directly onto some colouring card stock, and then cut it into a rectangle. I coloured the image with Copic pens and matted it onto some card.

Next I die cut a circle in the centre top and glued a scalloped circle frame around it - this was done to reinforce the aperture.

To finish off I added die cut white mini snowflakes, glittered up Santa's fur trim and added a ribbon bow.

For full details of everything I did and what I used, please check out my blog here.

Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see more fabulous inspiration from our fab Design Team and why not join our facebook group.

big Hugs

Live, Love, Laugh

Happy Sunday! Jeanette here to share a  Fairy Glen creation with you! The images in this line are so adorable :)

DSC_9871

This is a digital image from the Return to Glen Fairy line and it is called Live, Love, Laugh.

I sized it to 6”x6” and it is going into my art journal book. It was colored with Copic Markers and the background was airbrushed with my Copic airbrush system. I love the very muted, soft look. The white dots were added in with a Sharpie White Poster paint pen.

The wings are glittered with Winke of Stella.
The image is coloured with copics.
Here is my card, which is kept simple due to the sweet image:

Mermaid

Marilyn here with my Friday post.  I hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend like I am.
For today's I used a Leanne Ellis digital image called Mermaid and she is in the Funky Kits shop here.
I coloured with Copics and used my Silhouette cutter to go around the scrollwork on the image.  The sentiment is made on the computer with a little doodle around the edges.
